Greece plans to issue offers to swap government bonds for the payment of the enormous part of the debt of up to 107 billion euros (142 billion dollars), owned by banks and other investors from the private sector.
Is expected to announce officially the presentations after the cabinet meeting to be held later in the day Friday, which will be discussed as well as the implementation of the new austerity program stalled in the state.
Greek parliament approved on Thursday the emergency law on debt cancellation, which was approved by the countries of the euro-17 this week with the new batch Greek rescue 130 billion euros (the equivalent of $ 173 billion).
Without this agreement, it can get stuck in Greece debt repayment next month and could be forced to secede from the Union of the euro.
It should be noted that Greece escaped from being stuck in the month of May 2010 through the first batch which were rescue an estimated 110 billion euros (the equivalent of $ 146 billion).
